Education
Required - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other health related focus area
Preferred - Master’s degree in Nursing
Work Experience
Required - 5 years nursing experience in a hospital setting
3 years experience in successfully managing complex hospital and patient care delivery
Experience in areas of responsibility.
Certifications
Required - Current State of Louisiana RN license
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
- Knowledge of principles and methods involved in education, orientation, evaluation and supervision.
- Good organizational skills
- Good time management skills and self directed
- Demonstrates good judgment and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Ensures quality of care & patient satisfaction measured by division performance reviews, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and patient advocacy scores
- Builds an engaged workforce through leadership, talent development and collaborative employee relationships
- Oversees research, education & training to support cutting edge patient care and services
- Ensures operational profitability with sound financial performance
- Develops and achieves long-term strategic business plans through effective relationship building, communication, planning, and fundraising
- Oversees the physical & technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures, programs, and processes

Physical and Environmental Demands
