Massapequa Center is skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Amityville Long Island. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.

The ideal candidate will oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees during his/her tour of duty. Supervises and assists all nursing personnel in their work performance when necessary. Performs duties of Unit Nurse when necessary.

Qualifications include:

·         Currently licensed as Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

·         Has malpractice insurance for New York State.

·         Has supervisory experience in a long-term health care setting.

·         Demonstrates evidence of leadership and management skills.

·         Has knowledge of Federal and State health regulations.

·         Experience with care plans and MDS.

·         Experience with ventilator equipment and LV. therapy.

·         Flexibility in work hours.

·         Physically and mentally capable of performing job responsibilities.

·         Nursing: 1 year Nurse Manager experience preferred

·         BLS Certification

·         RN License
