The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director. 

The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Lee’s Summit Medical Center. 

About this unit:

• Performs 10 - 15 cases per day (Avg 250 Cases a Month): 6 Operating Rooms
• Complex cases with variety; everything but open heart or brain
• Biggest Volume is Robotic Surgeries (XI Robots, Hybrid)
• Team-oriented and fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population

Position Requirements:

• BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire 
• Current state of Missouri RN licensure required 
• 1 to 2 years of experience
• Previous OR experience required

Lee’s Summit Medical Center serves Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The 80 -bed advanced technology facility is both a Joint Commission Chest Pain Certified Hospital and a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center. LSMC is an affiliate of HCA Healthcare.
