SKILLS REQUIRED:

Performs all basic need of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians / licensed independent practitioners

Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians / licensed independent practitioners
-
Assembles, disassembles, operates, maintains, and performs adjustments in the applications of durable medical equipment and circuitry used in the delivery of respiratory care

Performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed
LICENSURE:
-
Current license in state practiced as required
-
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as an RRT
EDUCATION:
-
Associate or technical degree required
-
Bachelor's Degree preferred
