Job Skills / Requirements
Essential Functions:
- Research
- Request and conduct public record research
- Run database searches
- Conduct verbal verifications (employment, etc.)
- Review incoming public record research results for accuracy
- Analysis:
- Analyze public record research results
- Analyze database search results
- Analyze customer requests
- Interface with Account Managers
- Case write-up
- Draw conclusions based on information derived
- Draft case reports outlining all findings
- Follow templates as instructed
- Review own reports for accuracy in information, grammar, punctuation, etc.
- Case Management
- Maintain and meet timelines/due dates
- Ability to juggle multiple case types
- Technology
- Learn and maintain proficiency with relevant databases, software, online tools, etc.
- Miscellaneous
- Support management team as necessary
- Maintain active participation in any development plans as assigned
- Take active role in searching for training and continuing education opportunities
Requirements
- High School degree minimum
- Research-based investigations and/or experience conducting background checks preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe software products, and computer skills in general
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to problem solve, take initiative and say “no” when required
- Proven ability to work in fast paced environment while juggling multiple competing tasks and demands
