Welcome to St. Martha Villa for Independent and Retirement Living! Our 120-bed facility, provides a warm and caring environment for Independent living, Personal Care and Memory Support. Our team of seasoned staff work together to offer excellent service and care to each resident. St. Martha Villa has opportunities for capable and motivated individuals to join our team as Residential Aides.

All shifts are available. The residential aide would provide care to residents in our personal care unit. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to perform multiple ongoing tasks, are needed.

Responsibilities for this position include:

- Assist or provide residents with morning and afternoon care.

- Assist or provide residents with activities such as bathing

- Make beds and assist with laundry

- Assist residents to dining rooms

- Assist residents to activities

- Answers call bells promptly

- Works as a team player

- Communicates with all shifts

- Completes daily documentation of services provided

- Makes frequent rounds during assigned shift

- Attends in-services and staff meetings as scheduled

- Will be CPR and First Aid certified

- Must be able to complete physical duties

- Certification a plus

Training provided to the right candidate who shows true compassion for the elderly population.

The candidate must posses a High School diploma or GED. Previous experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide is preferred. Certification is not required.
