Job Summary:
 

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is an individual who, after comprehensive training, is able to function independently in all aspects of respiratory care.

 

These aspects include implementation of care and all phases of management of patients on invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, aerosol administration, bronchial hygiene, arterial puncture, and blood gas analysis, EKG’s, Holter monitor set-up,  NIV/CPAP initiation, and all other applicable duties as defined in the professional scope of practice and hospital policies

  • You will demonstrate age specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients.
  • You will ensure the privacy of our patients and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • You must meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
  • You will utilize respiratory care process management for individual care to meet needs of patients.
 

Our 218 bed facility is located in Hermitage TN and was named as a Top Hospital in Quality by The Joint Commission.   • Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
  • RRT/RCP License
  • BLS required
  • New hires have 6 months from the date of hire to complete NRP, ACLS and PALS/PEARS if not already so credentialed.
