Responsibilities

  • Record vital signs as directed by medical nursing staff
  • Gather information from nurses about patient condition and treatment given.
  • Examine patients in order to detect symptoms in need of medical attention.
  • Document patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
  • Perform other assistant nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • CPR Certification

Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

As a Restorative Aide/CNA, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
