Arbor Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 180-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Ocala, FL.  We are looking for dedicated and passionate caregivers to help our residents live their lives to the fullest.  Within our organization we believe that our residents don’t live in our workplace, we work in their home.  If you are looking to join a team of passionate and driven caregivers, we would LOVE to have you!

We are currently seeking a Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of caregivers.

What you bring to our team:

•          Active Florida CNA license
•          Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year related experience; long-term care preferred
•          Current/active CPR certification preferred
•          Effective verbal and written English communication skills
•          Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
•          Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
•          Problem solving skills
•          Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change

As a Restorative CNA, you will provide care to our residents to include but not limited to:

•          Direct or assist residents in transfer and ambulation techniques and with range of motion and exercise activities, and the use of walkers or other assistive devices

•          Coordinate and/or assist with other restorative functions
•          Evaluate progress and document daily
•          Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, etc.
•          Utilize restorative techniques to promote resident independence and highest functional level
•          Read and follow daily care plans
•          Monitor restorative equipment for quantity, quality, and cleanliness
•          Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics
•          Other duties as assigned
