QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST have a current Certified Nurses Assistance certification issued by the State of New Jersey and be listed on the State's Nurse's Aide Registry.

The Restorative Nursing Assistant provides restorative care to residents, as directed by the Rehabilitation and Nursing Departments, to maximize and maintain the physical functioning and emotional wellness of our residents.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring and feeding of assigned residents by providing assistance, verbal prompts, physical support or more extensive assistance
• Assist with the transport of residents to the tub or shower
• Assist resident, or provide range of motion exercises to all joints. Provide weight-bearing assistance or physical support for ambulating
• Monitors residents progress towards treatment goals 
• Provide and maintain a safe environment for residents
