Retail Seafood Merchandiser

FULL-TIME

$29/hr

This position will put you out in the field working with Seafood and Grocery Managers and instructing them on how to handle, display, and promote fresh, frozen, jarred, dry, and packaged seafood items. You will develop relationships with our retail customers and provide them with information to maximize store sales. You will visit retail customers and assist them with set up of displays, and monitor seafood items. Also participate in special events at retail locations such as the introduction of a new item, holiday celebrations and grand openings cooking and sampling seafood products for customers. Additionally, working directly with retail customers to develop and grow sales and assist retail sales managers with maintenance of customer accounts by visiting locations, advice retail seafood employees on proper rotation and presentation of seafood product, and write weekly advertisements and merchandising message for use in stores.

Monday - Friday

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 21+ years old

Minimum of 5 years of experience with retail seafood sales and merchandising. Must have training for HACCP, Cool Compliance, and/or Sanitation practices (SSOP's) Basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
