Salary: $16-$18 hourly

Right at Home is looking for retired veterans who want part-time work helping seniors in their area. We have clients needing someone relatable, with similair experiences and interests, that can help with an independent lifestyle.

Client locations include Lake Zurich, Fox River Grove, Barrington, Inverness, Palatine, Cary, Lake Barrington, Barrington Hills, Rolling Meadows, Hawthorne Woods, and many other towns throughout the Northwest Suburbs.

We have multiple shifts available near you. You pick what days and times you work, and which clients you are comfortable with, we are that flexible! We offer a $300 sign-on bonus, medical insurance, $100 training bonus, monthly paid training, paid travel reinbursment including paid mileage, and performance reviews within the first 3 months.

Job duties for Caregivers might include:

Assistance with daily activities of living
Cooking and cleaning
Dementia and Alzheimer's care
Playing games and companionship
Going shopping and to doctor's appointments
Pet care

Caregiver Job Requirements:

Professional Caregiver Experience is preferred but not necessarily required. Military based medical experience will be taken into consideration. CNA/DSP/HHA/PCA's are encouraged to apply.
Valid Driver's License or reliable transportation.
Pass a background check.
Caregiving Training documentation or be assigned training and have completed within the allotted time.
Speak, read and write English.
Registered or willing to register in the Illinois Department of Public Health Care Registry.
