Job Description

Office Location: Westminster, CO with some flexibility to work remotely

SUMMARY

This position will build and maintain relationships within the Government payor sector. This position will lead growth and expansion nationally within the DOL FECA, EEOICPA, and Veterans Affairs business line and act as a link between the company and any referral source as well as interact with internal stakeholders through various communication methods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Employees must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company, and have exceptional customer service, and communication skills.

Other assigned duties include:

  1. Maintain a knowledge and understanding of EEOICPA, FECA, and VA health programs, a general understanding of insurance and benefits, as well as industry and company practices, guidelines, and state-specific requirements.
  2. Develop new customers and contacts in areas that have minimal to no referral history.
  3. Assist in the development of strategic goals and achieve assigned strategic objectives, targets, and goals.
  4. Development and maintenance of a process to increase the volume of referrals from existing relationships and utilize existing relationships to find new referral sources.
  5. Act as the liaison between key individuals, payor sources, customers, and internal teams.
  6. Development and execution of tactical initiatives to achieve exposure and recognition with the payor community.
  7. Develop, analyze and continuously monitor performance metrics to understand efficiency, and identify trends and business needs as they change.
  8. Prepare and provide reports and analyses to the leadership team monthly, quarterly, annually, and when requested.
  9. Coach and lead team members by designing, implementing, and maintaining the appropriate tools, training, processes, and systems necessary for success.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for assigned employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Healthcare, or related field; and five years of experience and/or training in workers’ compensation, and sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven track record of success in lead generation and onboarding is essential.
  • Union Benefits Background; History of working for and with Unions on union healthcare benefits and retiree benefits.

Preferred: Home Health and union experience are strongly preferred
