American Security has an immediate opening for a devoted security director! Join an essential company to serve and protect the buildings and facilities in your community.
When you join our team, you'll be:
- Leading and maintaining daily communication with the client and other stakeholders.
- Maintaining daily communication with the Director of Operations and Area Manager, to include daily logs from all security personnel at all posts.
- Leading onsite training programming required by the State of Minnesota, American Security & Investigations and contractual commitments, in conjunction with Branch resources.
- Leading onsite personal development training
- Effectively managing site schedule, to include overtime and payroll administration
- Updating and producing policy/procedure documents
- Retaining and developing talent
Salaried Position: Pay Depending on Experience
Shift/Schedule: Primarily Day Shift- the duties and responsibilities of this position may require working in excess of the scheduled hours
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old
- you must be able to speak English proficiently
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Prior security and leadership experience is required
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills are required
Education Requirements (Any)
Associates degree or 1-3 years equivalent experience
4 year degree in Criminal Justice or Psychology
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 10 - 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
