At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we're in. We're growing our team here in Charles City, Iowa:

Compensation: $15.50 hr.
*Health insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay, uniforms provided, direct deposit, 401k options and more!

Full-Time Shift(s):
-6:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday & Wednesday
-10:00 pm to 6:00 am Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on the activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You're good at reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Vehicle patrols of client facility (company vehicle provided during shifts).
• Foot patrols of client property (inside and/or outside).
• On-the-job training provided.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Stable work history.
• Customer service experience and/or skills.
• Prior security or related experience is welcomed but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Iowa State Professional Security license or ability to obtain/maintain (will help to obtain if needed).
• You have a driver's license and an impeccable driving record.
• Ability to meet physical standards of the security industry ranging from walking, standing, sitting, stair climbing, and being outside in the elements (varies based on client account).
