General Purpose of the Job
Invo's Multidisciplinary Program Addressing Childhood Trauma (IMPACT) uses an approach that helps districts drive positive outcomes among high-risk students by addressing the underlying causes of unwanted behaviors. With a team-based model, Mental Health and Behavioral Health teams work together – in partnership with school staff – to dramatically increase student's social and emotional regulation skills while teaching positive replacement behaviors. IMPACT teams can work within a class, throughout a school, or supporting an entire district – services are flexible to meet the unique goals of our partner districts. The IMPACT Licensed Psychologist supports in the development, implementation, evaluations, and monitoring of behavior treatment and training programs for referred students. The Licensed Psychologist will report directly to the IMPACT Program Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must have PhD or PsyD
  • Current North Carolina License
  • Experience working in the school-based setting and with students who present with significant trauma and/or behavioral challenges (preferred)
  • Strong skills in behavioral treatment and training programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports in training development in collaboration with the IMPACT Program Manager
  • Supports and monitors ongoing collection of data across all programs
  • Conducts and develops in collaboration with the IMPACT Leadership Team professional development trainings per district needs
  • Conducts periodic clinical audits and reports the finding to the Program Manager
  • Coordinates and schedules school-based planning meetings with school administration on program implementation and to communicate IMPACT procedures
  • Collaborates with IMPACT Operations Manager on data collection requirements and data collection processes
  • Participates in professional development to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices
  • Abides by confidentiality policies and HIPPA rules
  • Conducts observations, behavioral skills training, and delivery of performance feedback
  • Provides oversight and evaluation of the effects of behavioral service delivery
  • Guides behavioral case conceptualization, problem-solving, and decision-making repertoires
  • Develops and reviews written materials (i.e. behavior programs, data sheets, reports)
  • Provides staff training, modeling, and coaching on behavioral strategies
  • Implements crisis management procedures in compliance with federal, state, and county regulations
  • Complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains documentation in accordance with FERPA standards
  • Possesses a deep understanding on the implementation design of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Designs, models, and implements varied group contingencies
  • Develops systems/methods of collecting and organizing data for use across multidisciplinary users (Behavior Support Specialists, Qualified Mental Health Providers, Teachers, Administrators, etc.)
  • Provides occasional support or consultation to district staff to promote referral of services
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Program Manager and/or National Director of IMPACT
