Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Associate Data Engineer, Big Data to be part of our team of top-notch technologists. You will lead and deliver technical solutions for large-scale digital transformation projects. Working with the latest data technologies in the industry, you will be instrumental in helping our clients evolve for a more digital future.

Your Impact:

• Combine your technical expertise and problem-solving passion to work closely with clients, turning complex ideas into end-to-end solutions that transform our clients’ business
• Translate clients requirements to system design and develop a solution that delivers business value
• Lead, design, develop and deliver large-scale data systems, data processing and data transformation projects
• Automate data platform operations and manage the post-production system and processes
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and provide project estimates for the design and development of the solution
• Mentor, help and grow junior team members

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

• Experience in data engineering role with demonstrable experience in data integration and data warehouse projects 
• Data engineering experience with Spark (2.4) preferably with Java 
• Experience putting end-to-end data pipelines together and well verse with services on AWS 
• Experience with real time applications for consuming and publishing data to queue/stream such as SQS, Kinesis or any other pub-sub model 
• Experience with Batch processing of data having high data volume  
• Experience with Java 
• Experience developing and configuring spark application, testing and enable activation based on prioritized business use cases 
• Experience defining data sets and strategies 
• Experience in No SQL database preferably Cassandra and Dynamo DB 
• Data modeling expertise 
• Experience in performance tuning of spark application, error handling and setting up monitoring of jobs 
• Experience in implementing CICD pipeline through Jenkins

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Developer certifications for any of the cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
• Understanding of development and project methodologies
• Experience with reporting tools like Tableau and Business Objects 
• Experience supporting ML teams and some knowledge of SparkML  
• Experience working on ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend is a plus 
• Experience in Snowflake
