Collaborate with the technical team to assess our technology stack and spend time and resources where they are most required for both maintenance and expansion.
Work with product managers to conceptualize and create innovative digital products, features, and tools as business needs evolve. Priorities will be constantly evolving and looking for someone who is excited to work in a rapidly growing environment.
Take the lead on our future data structure and needs, including evaluating and potentially implementing a customer data platform to consolidate our many data sources.
Take the lead on cybersecurity and user privacy issues.
Assist in the hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring of more junior engineers.

Qualifications

Understanding of all phases of web development, from hosting to database design. This is a full-stack position, but the main focus will be on the backend.
Willingness to learn on the job and take on new challenges outside of your past experience. We’re growing quickly, so there is the opportunity for new projects each month.
Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Experience with Django and Python.
Experience with a content management system.
Experience with a customer data platform would be a plus.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jira.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with DevOps would be a plus but is not required.
