You will work in a dynamic high-impact position designed to place you as one of the key liaisons between the Akamai Global Network and Accounting business teams, and various functions of the IT organization.You will be applying skills in project management, business analysis, requirements gathering, functional testing, change management, and training to implement business processes and practices.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding systems needs when it comes to them managing our data center contracts in the areas of entry, maintenance, invoicing and payments.
• Using the Tririga contract management system and providing technical solutions around efficiency, automation and standardization.
• Acting as a senior liaison between Edge Platform, Finance & Accounting and IT communities for all Network Contract needs and the impacts to Accounting.
• Leading facilitated sessions with the business community to define and plan the deployment of application solutions.
• Communicating project status and escalating issues to management.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in In Management Information Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Have an understanding of Data Center lease contracts, business process and relationships with Internet Service Providers and Data Center Operators
• Have knowledge of a contracts management system and the interaction between contracts, invoicing and accounting within that system.
• Possess clear written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Be able to breakdown complex issues into easily consumable data points detailing possible solutions to facilitate a discussion by upper management to reach a decision
• Demonstrate understanding of general accounting business processes such as assets and liabilities, amortization, lease accounting, invoice reconciliation and payment
• Have project management skills, creating detailed project plans, status reports and mediate resource/timing conflicts across all areas of the project.
