Primary Purpose PCCI is looking to hire a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of the Microsoft O365 and Azure security tools, Cybersecurity methodologies, VPNs, virtual firewalls and SIEMs, and IPSs. The ideal candidate is expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work well with the team, work well under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.

Minimum Specifications:  Education - Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering, or a related field

Experience - Must have at least 4 years of experience in security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies or designing and implementing security solutions. This includes continuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions, working with an information security team. - Must have 4 years of experience in implementing Cloud Security tools. - Experience in commercial software development and healthcare experience are a plus.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience - May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

Skills or Special Abilities - Advanced Information Security knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies architectures. - Must have an advanced knowledge of security concepts associated to infrastructure hardware, enterprise software, network and telecommunication fundamentals and operational support models - Must be able to demonstrate excellent technical documentation, troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Must have advanced experience in system architecture design, recommending and implementing design changes and communicating recommendations to leadership. - Must have advanced experience implementing and developing best practices for industry leading security tools. - Working knowledge of design, implementation, and maintenance of: Local area networks, Microsoft Active Directory, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption Technologies, Vulnerability Management, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web Filtering, Virtual Private Network, Linux Operating Systems, Windows Operating Systems, Communication Protocols, Multi-factor authentication, Cloud Access Security Broker, Endpoint Detection and Response Technologies, Security Information and Event Management Tools - Must have advanced working knowledge of network and vulnerability assessments and common security concepts. - Must have advanced working knowledge of network and vulnerability assessments. - Must have extended experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence and vulnerability management. - Must have an advanced working knowledge of common security concepts. - Must have excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Responsibilities 1. Provides input on the selection, design, and implementation for best of breed enterprise security tools including but not limited to Security Information Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), sandboxing technologies, two-factor authentication, Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). 2. Design, Test, Implement, and Manage Cloud/Cyber Security Tools 3. Participates in project meetings and team meetings to understand application, network, storage, database, and server infrastructure design to ensure appropriate security controls are in place in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. 4. Mentors team members on Information Security best practices. 5. Provides Information Security program transparency to leadership by preparing security analysis reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends associated to Parkland¿s Information Security posture on a regular basis. 6. Ensures system security needs are established and maintained for operations, security risk assessments, systems analysis, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. 7. Provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Assists in the development of Information Security policies and technology frameworks to effectively improve the infrastructure security posture enterprise-wide. 8. Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, provides architectural analysis of cyber security features and prepares existing systems to meet future needs. Provides engineering recommendations and participates in the resolution of integration and testing issues. 9. Stays abreast of new developments and the latest security threats and trends by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals and actively participating in professional organizations. May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices. 10. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland.
