The Job
Senior Community Manager - HUD (Full-time/Day)
We’re looking for an energetic and motivated teammate to play a critical role in supporting both the operations and the culture of the Housing and Property Management team.  This position acts as the primary contact for the property’s residents, acts as liaison between residents and Property Management, and is responsible for curb appeal, basic on-site maintenance and monitoring condition of the property.  The Senior Community Manager - HUD also creates an environment that is based on customer service, welcoming to all, and allows for every resident to experience the peaceful enjoyment of the community.

What you’ll do
  • Working hours will be Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM
  • Location will be at Chenowith Rim Plaza, The Dalles, Wasco County Oregon
  • Provide Customer Service and Resident Relations: maintain a log of conversations with prospective tenants, current residents, and/or visitors, welcome and show prospective residents rent ready units, the overall property, and explain occupancy terms
  • Administrative/Clerical Work: processes and serves 72 hour notice for assigned property, responsible for evictions of tenants as well as court appearances for assigned property, check rent and maintenance requests daily, conduct and support the investigation and documentation of resident complaints while finding resolutions
  • Quality Assurance: training new managers, work in partnership with the Maintenance Technicians to ensure property is well maintained and functioning well, and complete possession/vacating PCR of the unit condition and submits necessary paperwork for reconciliation
  • Property Upkeep and Maintenance: investigate resident complaints, document minor maintenance and weekly property inspections of the exterior including
  • Health and Safety: Identify and accurately report to Portfolio Manager any of Health and Safety issues related to the condition of the properties
