Job Description

• Work with the project team to discuss project requirements
• Manage gathering of information and the information flow on projects from the customer and vendors as needed
• Provide all electrical design calculations, components, schematics, control panel layouts, BOMs, PLCs and HMIs
• Work with Quality to test the equipment and troubleshoot as needed
• Assign design tasks to junior level engineers and review designs
• Act as the technical resource on any controls related matters
• Provide written sequence of operation and technical support in creating instruction manuals

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related degree is preferred, but a combination of education and extensive experience will be considered
• At least 5+ years of experience in a Controls Engineering role
• Previous supervision of engineering staff experience is a plus for the Manager role, but willing to train the right candidate
• Strong PLC and HMI programming skills are required
• Knowledgeable with AutoCAD Electrical
• Ability to create electrical schematics, control panel builds and BOMs
• Ability to handle mutiple projects
• Must have strong communication skills
