Product Marketing enables our teams to explain and demonstrate how Akamai stays ahead of our customers needs at the edge of innovation. Our team engages analysts, sales and presales teams, partners and customers. With value propositions across video, performance, security, IoT, blockchain, and more, there is a lot to tell!

Partner with the best

You will be the go-to subject matter expert on the market, the latest trends shaping technology innovation and IT spending, and steering product marketers and managers to capitalize on our unique differentiation. Working cross departmentally with technologists, marketers, and creatives to collaboratively build influential, innovative and unexpected storytelling strategies.

As a Senior Director Product Marketing, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding the market, building and maintaining total addressable market research, to help prioritize and steer go-to-market strategies
• Crafting clear and engaging story lines that articulate Akamais differentiation and alignment to business imperatives
• Leading a diverse team to bring stories to life through narratives, digital content, data visualizations and tools
• Coordinating messaging, content and event strategies with global Marketing to engage customers and prospects to help hit our business targets
• Using data and research to evaluate impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real business results

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Product Management, Computer Science or another related field
• Be experienced with leading messaging and content development, ideation, research, strategy, planning, with clear, actionable plans
• Be at ease managing multiple projects, working individually, and collaborating across teams
• Well versed in pragmatic marketing, what works across the customer journey, how to measure and increase engagement
• Love collaborating and working with cross-disciplinary teams to build content strategies and the assets to support them
