KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Department of Professional Practice Audit practice  organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
  • Exposure to such groups as Quality Controls, Integrated Inquires group and Learning & Development
  • Passion for contributing to audit quality improvement initiatives
  • Self-confidence to work collaboratively and independently in a culture-rich and fast-change environment
  • Ability to confidently lead meetings, calls and group discussions with senior level audiences
  • Exhibit exceptional client service and relationship building skills

Qualifications:

  • Minimum seven years of recent financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; CPA required
  • Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of PCAOB and AICPA audit standards and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
  • Strong communication, analytical, project management, problem solving and decision-making skills; able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to travel to NYC as needed
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
