Shootsta is an energetic and fast-paced Global Video Tech company shaking up the video production industry with fast-turnaround content. We provide video, animation, and other multimedia services to hundreds of the world's largest organizations. Different departments engage with our clients on different creative levels; however, the Post-Production Department is the engine room within Shootsta and is responsible for delivering over a thousand video outputs per month.


Reporting to the Regional Production Manager, you will lead an Animation team and support two edit teams. In doing so, you will be responsible for both delivering and overseeing a large volume of animation, nurturing the growth of your team by providing QA/QC, collaborating on L&D activities while continually looking for ways to simplify and scale our process. What are the keys to success?

  • Collaborate closely with the Edit Team Lead to deliver quality work on every project
  • Manage your own workload as well as the workload of your team end-to-end, including liaising with clients
  • Provide professional development, guidance & mentorship to the animation team
  • Collaborate with your peers in global animation roles
  • Positively influence others
  • Develop workflows that scale the capacity of your team
  • Create engaging Client Brand Suites
  • Streamline workflows with the use of expression scripting and MOGRT creation
  • Promptly and efficiently analyze project scope and liaise with Edit Team Lead and clients to deliver projects to deadlines
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team through skill & experience
  • Deliver storyboards and projects before established deadlines
  • Provide feedback to clients to progress their content and skill
  • Support your team with their projects, always ensuring an organized and well-managed pipeline that is transparent to clients
  • Support the Animation team with regards to your specific skills


What knowledge and experiential requirements do I need to be successful?

  • Taking a client's brand and bringing it to life through motion graphic design
  • Excellent motion design skills and broad experience in all aspects of the motion graphics design and production process
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Inwhats Design, Acrobat
  • General knowledge across the Adobe CC Suite Creation of MOGRTS (motion graphics templates)
  • Solid knowledge of expression scripting in After Effects Strong verbal/written communication skills, especially in client communication and team management
  • 3D experience
  • Time management of your projects
  • Consulting with clients and Account Managers for amendments and approvals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Shootsta brand knowledge
  • Collaboration with a global team of Animators to share ideas and workloads
