SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst, Planning position will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis process, including the development of the annual business plan, strategic plan, and forecast updates as well as the accurate and timely reporting of results to the Leadership team. The individual will perform periodic and ad hoc analysis and reporting for both internal and external requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The financial and analytical support includes, but is not limited to: management and development of key monthly reports, including analysis of monthly and YTD performance to explain budget, forecast and prior year variances as well as additional ad hoc requests.

Develop forecasts and annual plan of balance sheet accounts and key metrics

Preparation of presentations for Leadership, BOD and Earnings Calls

Develop forecasts and annual plan for overhead locations

Support the development of Strategic Plan

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or related field .

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years or more experience in finance/accounting/business preferred

SKILLS

Must possess strong problem solving skills and technical abilities

Strong oral and written communications skills

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

. Ability to interact with senior management

KNOWLEDGE

Skills in MS Excel such as working with formulas, data tables, pivot Charts, queries, custom functions, data management, analysis, and developing financial reports; advanced level.
