L.L.Bean is currently searching for a Senior QA Engineer to join the Information Services team located in Freeport Maine.

This position will provide support for the Front-End Systems and Order Flow Process. The individual filling this role will be responsible for developing automated testing scripts for new and existing functionality, as well as manual testing as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and analyze automated testing scripts

• Participates in discussions with technical leads and developers from multiple teams to understand technical requirements.

• Evaluate and analyze business requirements for new and existing applications, translating them into test cases.

• Prepares and manages test data using SQL and MongoDB.

• Interacts with other teams to search on issues, potential business cases and run test scenarios.

• Tracks bugs and provides feedback to project team; retests resolved bugs, updates ticket resolution and closes tickets.

• Uses monitoring tools like Splunk, Google Cloud Platform and others to validate test scenarios as well as research issues.

• Participates in regular meetings, working in an agile methodology environment.

• Provides consistent and concise updates on progress of tasks.

• Identifies opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the testing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Computer Science or related

• 5+ years of experience, minimum 2 years in the QA field (preferably experience with automation)

• Effective communication with all levels of both business and IT partners.
