Senior Support Specialist

FULL-TIME

$16/hr

The purpose of this position is to ensure the physical inventory matches the computer inventory. This position is accountable for handling all documents pertaining to the shipping and receiving of products as directed by the supervisor.

Duties include:
• Always meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers such as: assist in directing union workforce, answering phones and relaying messages to supervisors, notifying buyers when receiving discrepancies occur, audit outbound products as needed.
• Providing support in maintaining current, accurate records of the Distribution Center inventory and organizing products for productive utilization of space: slot moves, adjustments, maintenance.
• Assisting operations in monitoring proper product rotation and making corrections as necessary.
• Performing cycle counts and reserve checks to ensure an accurate inventory.
• Completing all assignments in a timely manner including reprocessing loads, performing pallet combines, maintaining aisle and slot location labels, and/or researching discrepancies.
• Preparing paperwork and reports to provide a complete, accurate record of production activities; enter receiving documents, adjust purchase orders as needed, update department metrics board.
• Providing backup support to other Distribution Center personnel as needed such as performing selection audits and filling in for auditors, training new support members on office functions.

Shift start: 6:00AM or 2:00PM or 2:30PM
Shift length: 8 hours
Varying shift, must be available for overtime & weekends
