What you get to do:
As a Park Area Ambassador responsible for restrooms, pathways and stadiums, you’ll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. You will:
- Maintain cleanliness of restroom/park areas
- Operate vacuums
- Stock restroom supplies
- Maintain/organize storage closet
- Notify leadership of any supplies needed
- Report any concerns or repair needs in restroom facilities
- Sweep debris from pathways while scanning landscape for trash
- Maintain hand washing stations
- Change trash bags
- Clean restrooms
- Ensure safe and efficient line speed and crowd flow through stadiums
- Interact with guests and answer guest questions
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Direct guests to attractions
- Assist with park emergencies, including inclement weather
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- Able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, with different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs
- At least 16 years of age
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be comfortable working with large crowds in a fast paced environment
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in outside weather conditions, year-round in most weather conditions
- Must be able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, stoop, crawl, or kneel
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Availability and Hours:
- During the non-peak season, must have 2 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend day
- During the peak season, must have 4 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend day
- You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Hours vary based on business need
