Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials

People or Process Management Responsibility: Warehouse personnel

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse.
  • Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
  • Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
  • Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
  • Secure company assets.
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
  • Manage warehouse space capacity and interface with outside warehouses, planning, and transportation as required.
  • Experienced in WMS/RF systems, preferably SAP
  • Knowledge of forklifts and associated maintenance

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Forklift certification 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse, transportation, purchasing, customer service, sales or similar supply chain department
  • Requires experience managing people/budgets.
  • Computer and database application skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product
  • Forklift certification is required within first 6 months of hire date
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
