Shipping and Receiving

FULL-TIME

$19/hr

•Performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision.
•Verifies the order to match the received materials and prepares the items for proper shipment.
•Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
•Ensures the accuracy of all shipping documents, gathers, and maintains all data relative to shipping activities.
•Collects all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit.
•Picks orders for shipment and assembles various types of merchandise to be shipped.
•Schedules inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations.
•Contacts carrier representatives to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products.
•Operates equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and more safely and efficiently.
•Maintains a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
•Keeps an equipment checklist and performs preventative maintenance of equipment.

Shift start: 2:00PM
Shift length: 11 hours
Monday to Friday - Alternate Saturday

• Must be at least 21+ years old
