Summary:

The Behavioral Health Social Worker demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of assessment, reassessment, development and implementation of the patient’s plan of care based on patient/family/significant other social needs and in accordance with organizational/ departmental standards with special focus on the discharge planning and continuum of care needs.  As a staff member, the Behavioral Health SW can expect to care for adult and geriatric psychiatric patients.  The Behavioral Health SW interacts with other members of the healthcare team and demonstrates knowledge of the specific psychosocial conditions and treatment therapies for the patient populations.  The Behavioral Health SW provides psycho-social services to patients and their families. 

• Master’s Degree Required
• Current Florida MSW License Required
• 3-5+ Years Psychiatric Experience (Preferred)
• Basic English skills required Spanish (Preferred)
