POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is for University IOP.

Plans, organizes, directs, defines and coordinates clinical services necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agencies guidelines. Provide case management, education, group and individual therapy, and discharge planning. Performs community and educational activities. 

SCHEDULE:

This position is PRN (as needed).  We are ideally looking for someone with availability during the week: Mon-Thurs 11:30-8 and Fri 8-5. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Clinical Therapy required  
• Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required; or Florida Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) license or Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license
• BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with psychiatric clients required
• Experience in psychiatric outpatient setting preferred
• Group therapy experience preferred. 
• Experience with college students a plus (18-24 age range)

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

• Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to read, document and review medical records.
• Be able to handle multiple task pertaining to patient issues.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
• A firm background in social service practice, patient aftercare and discharge planning.
• Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner’s needs.
• Basic computer skills
