Web Developer Description

Specific Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and modify websites, from layout and according to various department requests.
• Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
• In-depth understanding of all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Maintain positive communications and working relationships at all business levels.
• Build and maintain SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries for data analysis and extraction.
• Ensure best practices are applied and integrity of data is maintained through security, documentation, and change management.

• JavaScript
• Cursory knowledge of query writing and optimization
• Cursory knowledge of Linux OS
• Familiarity with Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Familiarity with source repository management systems

• Metasolv Inventory Management and Service Fulfillment Software
• Appian Business Process Management Tools
• Database Experience
• MYSQL

• Bachelors/Associates Degree in a related field (ex: Computer Science, Information Technology) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
