We are currently seeking a
Software Development Engineer Testing -. NET
to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Job Responsibilities Include:

The
SDET - Dot Net
contributes to all areas of development as a member of an Agile Scrum or Waterfall team. Team members will have areas of strength and some level of specialization but must be adept at learning tools and languages that enable the team member to participate in all areas of product development. Being adaptable and knowledgeable in multiple domains enables the team members to swarm or fill gaps to meet commitments.

Job Duties Include:

• Demonstrate competency in the software development practices performed by Scrum and Waterfall teams
• Test product features for any or all of the following: data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, API services and integration workflows
• Review and analyze system specification
• Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Automate Test scripts or manually Execute test scripts and review results
• Report bugs and errors to development team
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors/bugs
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Test, Jira) and SQL
• Contribute to test automation and participating in peer reviews to increase product quality
• Work under general direction and consistently delivers on commitments
• Participate in new feature test automation and the implementation of security controls
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, suggesting, and contributing to improvements (getting better/faster/happier)
• Conform with all company policies and procedures
• Demonstrates software development proficiency
• Forms relationships to effectively accomplish tasks and manage dependencies
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Language/Tools: NUnit, Entity Framework, C# .Net Core, SQL, LINQ to SQL, LINQ to XML, Generics, Attributes, Exceptions, Collections, Web services, Windows Services, Console

• Framework: .Net Framework 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, .Net Core 2,3.1, 5.0
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
• Source Code: Git, TFS, SVN or any
• Pipeline Automation/Cloud: Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins
• IDE/Others: Visual Studio 20XX

Preferred Skills:

• Language/Tools: SQL,Selenium

• Code Scanning: SonarQube, Checkmarx

• Others: SOAPUI, Postman
