The Enterprise Operations Analysis team is searching for an energetic, self-starting software developer who specializes in software performance to help us optimize our modeling and simulation capabilities. This role supports software development on the Forecast Simulator (FS) program in Mission Solutions, offering you the opportunity to work on an Agile development team delivering modeling and simulation solutions to our customers who are seeking to perform studies on orbital trades, collection competition, scheduling parameter tuning, tasking strategies, etc. that inform them on best use of current and future systems.
Desired work location is King of Prussia, PA.
Basic Qualifications:
• Software development experience in C++
• Experience working on teams using Agile practices
• Performance Engineering experience focused on software runtime and efficiency
• Experience with Unix operating systems
• 9+ years of professional experience (beyond Bachelor's degree) with software development
Desired Skills:
• Space ISR domain experience, especially GEOINT systems
• CI/CD experience, especially with Gitlab, Ansible, and or Terraform experience
• Experience working with SAR systems
• Experience developing modeling and simulation software
• Good communication skills
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or a similar STEM discipline
• Current TS/SCI clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
