Spare Parts-Tool Crib Coordinator
FULL-TIME
$24/hr, plus $1500 new hire bonus, see details below
- Helps ensure the quality and stability of our production machines and processes.
- Responsible for ordering, verifying, and distributing parts for our machines and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Creates strong relationships with our vendors to ensure timely delivery and distribution of parts.
- Maintains accurate accounting records for inventory.
- Serves as the first point of contact for all spare parts inquiries from the Business Unit
- Accurately identifies and provides parts necessary to complete repairs
- Receives and processes requisitions in accordance with planned requirements
- Works together with operations to determine the demand for spare parts and cutting tools
- Maintains optimal inventory to ensure parts availability
- Works to mitigate the risk of inventory loss
- Maintains optimal inventory levels through ordering parts according to sourcing procedure, ensuring suppliers deliver purchases defect-free and on time
- Manages the new & used parts inventory and ensure that parts are on hand in the right quantity and specifications in an organized manner
- Receives and stores parts in an organized and easily accessible manner
- Establishes strong relationships with vendors to locate and order parts, obtains the best pricing, and best delivery terms
- Inspects parts for quality and accuracy
- Ensures timely distribution of parts in accordance with the maintenance schedule
- Enters orders for spare parts for IMS Gear GA that are not on SAP
- Maintain accurate accounting records for the existing, purchased, and/or returned parts
- Keeps parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
- Processes parts orders and coordinates with operations through to completion
- Processes and maintains purchase orders that reflect the expected pricing and deliveries
- Provides input and progress activities on departmental goals
- Handles urgent and expedited requests in a timely manner
- If necessary adapt delivery dates and initiate measures to secure production
- Manages backorders and ensures these are shipped as soon as vendor inventory is available
- Inventories, stores and distributes hand tools and other equipment
- Performs frequent inspections to check tool functionality and safety conditions of parts
- Researches alternative vendors
- Ensures data accuracy in SAP spare parts inventory
Schedule
Shift start: 7:30AM
Shift length: 8 hours

Qualifications
- Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
- Must pass background check
- Can lift 35 lbs
- Must be at least 18+ years old
$1500 new hire incentive
This bonus will be paid out in three separate installments (day 30, 60 and day 90) and is based on meeting company expectations regarding performance and conduct.
