We are currently seeking a Sr. Business Development Director (Pursuit/ Bid Management) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

  • Remote candidates are invited to apply
  • Leads and manages multiple tasks and pursuit team resources in pursuit of opportunities, which include complex, multi-line of business services.
  • Facilitates discussion with client's senior leadership on mission critical business factors.
  • Regularly influences in development of RFPs and RFIs.
  • Coordinates with solution architects to get create the best solution for a client's needs.
  • Acts as a coach/mentor to sales team.
  • Evaluates competitive positioning, provides feedback, and engages with internal senior level executives.
  • Lead negotiator, along with legal counsel, on contracts.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Skills:

  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Highly organized to lead companywide/virtual teams in response to vendor/client needs/opportunities.
  • Works effectively with executive leaders throughout the organization.
  • Able to negotiate complex contracts with C-Suite level customers.
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills, specifically to C-Suite level executives.
  • Excellent knowledge of all NTT DATA products and services.
  • Excellent sales and marketing skills.
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on NTT DATA technology, products, and services.
  • Long-term vision of business/technology direction for NTT DATA.
  • Anticipates new markets or clients for NTT DATA products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully within virtual teams and challenging time constraints.
  • Demonstrate a record of sales success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. Advanced degree in these fields a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of direct experience working on Sales Pursuits within IT Services or related technologies.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience developing pricing strategies and contract negotiations
