This Accountant role is contract, expected to last 6-12 months, and could be a great entry-point into the world of academia. Bring your accounting skills to the team and know your efforts help support a fantastic institution. Pay range is $30-$35 per hour. Training may be on-site, but the role can be performed remote (At this time, we are only able to consider local candidates).

In this role, you’ ll support the work of the CFO’ s office and will also assist senior accountants with numerous financial processes. Some of your responsibilities include the following:

• Preparing journal entries
• Account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Bachelor’ s degree
• At least 2 years of recent accountant experience
• Demonstrated elevated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in higher ed or with Workday a plus!
