PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Manage all front desk operations at the Stag Lodge with an emphasis on exceptional owner and guest service.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  •          Experience in supervising lodging front desk staff
  •          Ability to provide excellent customer service
  •          Must be computer literate
  •          Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •          Ability to handle money
  •          Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
  •          Ability to effectively network with vendors and suppliers
  •          Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and carry luggage/packages
  •          Must have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
  •          Must be able to drive curving mountain roads in various weather conditions

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support established standards for personnel administration and performance, service to guests and owners
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise department personnel with the objective of maintaining lodge facilities according to company standards and budget objectives
  • Develop a department attitude designed to promote customer satisfaction
  • Department personnel must understand the need to be courteous and helpful to all guests and owners, performs their jobs neatly and quickly at all times maintain a pleasant demeanor and be properly attired and groomed according to company standards
  • Builds weekly schedule within budget guidelines to assure adequate staffing and appropriate response to owner / guest requests
  • Assist with owner/guest transportation as needed
  • Develop and implement new procedures for front desk as needed
  • Inspect residences prior to guest arrival. Review any problems and forward information on to the appropriate departments and ensure completion
  • Field inbound calls from guests/owners/vendors and direct to appropriate department
  • Communicate with all owners on any issues with their residences as needed
  • Attend weekly manager’s meeting – ability to work closely with other departments and managers
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
