Job Summary
As a Starbucks Specialist, you will execute business plans, as well as educate and provide assistance to Store Leader/Senior Store Leaders, Independent Owners/Operators, Department Team Leaders and Regional Business Leaders to increase profitability and promote growth of the Starbucks business. You will be required to adhere to Food Safety/Safety standards, the company’s core values, the quality and freshness policy and all company policies and procedures. You must have respect for all Team Members and Guests.Job Description- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
- Experience Desired: Starbucks Experience/background
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent plus up to 18 months of additional training
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
- Travel Required: Regional - Daily, More than 50%
Job Responsibilities
- Provide feedback and use current technology to coach Safety/Food Safety policies during store visits to adhere to OSHA/company policies. Guide compliance of federal, state and county or local regulations by training leaders on new and existing laws to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Verify Starbucks merchandising plans by implementing the company’s strategic business plans, providing feedback regarding Starbucks sales, processes, shrink, and effectiveness of plans. You will also do this by communication and working with the Starbucks District Leader, Regional Business Leaders, Store Leaders, Prepared Foods Team Leaders, and Starbucks Leads to maximize sales and profitability.
- Review and analyze Starbucks financial reports, Customer Experience scores, inventory reduction plan and historical reports to improve sales, profits, shrink, optimization, and supplies.
- Maintain awareness and communication of competitive activity and new trends in the business.
- Participate in Starbucks openings and or/Prepared Foods remodels.
- Promote continuous development by identifying future Starbucks Leads/Team Leader candidates, engaging in the selection process and the placement, coaching and evaluation of all future and current Starbucks Leads/Prepared Foods Team Leaders.
- Responsible for conducting Barista training for all new Barista’s at new locations.
