What will I be doing?

As the Business Operations Supervisor, you will supervise and direct accounting activities of all aspects of resorts, homeowners’ associations, rentals and retail of the locations. You will perform financial and accounting activities in support of the HGV property to increase internal control and improve revenue.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
 

  • Supervises and coordinates accounting representatives and general cashiers job functions such as selection, orientation, training, coaching, scheduling, and recognition.
  • Review night audit reports to ensure data was processed correctly and address any corrections that need to be made.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary paperworks for monthly closing.
  • Analyze the financial spending of the operations as it relates to the established annual budget. Ensures effective reporting and forecasting of results in collaboration with each department.
  • Reconcile biweekly payroll and submits biweekly payroll of all departments on an as-needed basis.
  • Ensures that all licenses, permits and insurance policies are current and in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Monitor all contracts and agreements and advises hotel management of terms, conditions and benefits. Conduct monthly operating statement review meetings.
  • Ensures compliance with financial record retention policies and administers the competitive bidding process. Cooperates with internal/external audits and implements agreed upon recommendations.
  • Analyze retail inventories on a monthly basis of the property, and work on special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel accounting/finance (Cash Handling, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, F&B Financial Reporting, etc.)
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in excel and Microsoft applications.

 

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

 

  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
