An established critical access hospital located in the Finger Lake region of mid-state New York is currently searching for an experienced Supervisor of Food and Nutritional Services to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This 25-bed critical access facility provides a variety of general acute care services as well as medical telemetry and a swing-bed program. The Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services will join a regional leading multi-institutional health system that provides a range of acute and long-term care services to residents of the mid-state and upstate New York regions.

The Supervisor of Food and Nutritional Services will provide operational oversight of the hospitals dietary department under direction of the Food and Nutrition Manager. The Supervisor is supported by a team of Dietary Technician's and is responsible for monitoring the departments efficiency and overall success. The Superivosr of Food and Nutrition Services will lead a department that advises patients and families on the nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modifications, food selection and food preparation. The Supervisor will also serve as a subject matter expert in regards to Food and Nutritional Services within department.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with at least 3-5 years of prior management experience overseeing food and nutritional services in a healthcare setting. Current certification as a Dietary Manager, Diet Tech, or Dietician is preferred.
