Maintains all records pertaining to the PHHS or assigned department inventory control system and supervises assigned inventory control personnel to ensure accurate and current account of daily hospital inventory.


1.Education/Experience:

Must have an Associates degree in Business Administration or Accounting with three years of progressively responsible experience working in an automated inventory environment OR five years progressively responsible experience working in an automated inventory environment to include two years of management or supervisory experience.

N/A

3.Skills or Special Abilities:

Must be able to demonstrate good organizational, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency in inventory control procedures and user functions of the inventory processing system. Must demonstrate proficiency in operating a PC, mainframe applications such as, Paradox, Lotus, Millenium, etc., and CRT calculator use. Must be able to communicate effectively with hospital employees of all levels and vendors to resolve inventory problems.
