Edward Rose & Sons, through its employment affiliate, Personnel Management, Inc., is currently looking to fill a full-time Support Coordinator position for our Home Office in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Edward Rose & Sons is a family owned company providing modest to brand new luxury apartment communities throughout the Midwest and surrounding states. 

We are looking for a professional and motivated individual to join our team as a Support Coordinator. The Support Coordinator focuses on the legal and financial aspects of resident accounts, monitor all delinquent accounts throughout the legal process and assist in auditing and reporting on all resident accounts in our portfolio. The ideal candidate would have analytical skills, advanced experience with preparing reports in Excel, and knowledge of landlord/tenant laws. 

Other Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Conducting oneself in a professional manner as a company representative, demonstrating sound judgment and conduct.
  • Monitoring and communicating resident bankruptcy filings.
  • Overseeing delinquent rent and preparing delinquency reports.
  • Monitoring current court cases and preparing evictions reports.
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly reporting as needed.
  • Communicating multi-state legal processes/deadlines to communities.
  • Acting as a liaison between attorneys and communities.
  • Prepare Statement of Accounts and balance letters for all properties.
  • Examine lease charges and general ledger accounts.
  • Providing analytical support to team and leadership.
  • Approving all attorney invoices.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Yardi experience preferred but willing to train. 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask.
  • Able to analyze data and think critically.
  • Basic understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws.
  • Experience working with law firms.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to independently problem solve.
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Urgency to complete tasks.
  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate both orally and in writing, including over the phone.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
