We are seeking a Charge/Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.  Did you get into our industry for these reasons? The Ortho/Surgical team works closely with the patient, their family, and the orthopedic team to ensure clear client education, a smooth recovery, and minimal complications. An orthopedic nurse spends time encouraging patients to increase their mobility, educates about how to protect their joint and bone health, and implements strategies to minimize their pain and complications.

About this unit:

• Ability to specialize and be an empathetic RN working with patients dealing with chronic pain and mobility concerns as well as trauma patients
• Work closely with the Surgical Team (Surgeons, NPs, PAs) caring for a diverse group of post-surgical patients.
• 12-Bed Unit providing opportunity to specialize in Ortho and Surgical

Responsibilities:

The role of the Charge Nurse/CNC is to supervise patient care administered by RN’s, Patient Care Technicians and the support staff.  The Charge Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient and supports of the mission of Belton Regional Medical Center  

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing    
• Current state of Missouri RN licensure required. 
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
