We Are Hiring:

Location:  Ascension St. Vincent's One Nineteen

Schedule:  M-F.  600-1430 with assigned stay late days.  No nights, holidays or weekends

What You Will Do:

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional Preferences:

Scrub tech with minimum 2 years experience on the job training or a graduate of a scrub tech program with 1 year of experience
