We are currently seeking a Tableau Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

Responsibilities
:

• Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure data integrity and availability
• Perform data manipulation, data cleansing, and data profiling in the source systems, which is required for data analysis
• Administrative experience including setting up new Tableau users, monitoring Tableau Server and MS SQL performance, and query tuning
• Generate complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, User-defined Functions, Views and Cursors
• Design, develop and maintain SQL database, ETL, reports, and dashboards
• Create data models and automate data upload to SQL Server using SSIS packages from Excel/text files
• Manage Tableau Server upgrades and configurations, user licensing and customized access control, and refresh scheduling
• Work collaboratively with clients and business analysts to gather business requirements, create definitions and specifications and translate into data models, ETL packages and reports as appropriate.
• Experience with and ability to develop technical documentation, and understand management reporting and statistical concepts
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and present to client and internal leadership
• Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its reporting goals

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics
• Strong knowledge in Tableau Server administration and Tableau Desktop

• SQL database schema design and ETL skills

• Proficiency in Python/R for data processing, statistical analysis, visualizations
• Experience in developing presentations and communications to be shared internally and externally
