Responsibilities

This Manager, Tax will work closely with Tax Management to support implementing and maintaining best-in-class tax processes for accurate and timely: (1) interim and year-end tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 for GAAP; (2) non-GAAP analysis in accordance with Company policy; (3) tax forecasting and cash tax projections for the Company's Long Range Plans; (4) Managing Tax Automation Processes and Software; (5) Federal and state compliance support; (6) SOX compliance and support

The candidate should have proficient experience in the areas listed below:

• Manage the Tax provision preparation and review, balance sheet and footnote reporting under US GAAP for quarterly and annual SEC financial reporting
• Manage preparation and review of tax projections and forecasting of cash taxes and GAAP/non-GAAP for Company PLAN and LRP (long rage plan) including ad-hoc tax reform modeling and M&A modeling
• Manage preparation and review of tax journal entries for quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Manage maintenance of tax attributes (utilization and carryforwards), calculation of 382 limitations
• Manage preparation and review of ASC 740-10/FIN 48 calculation and tax exposure analysis
• Manage relationship with external auditors and consultants including coordination of tax requests lists and meetings and agendas
• Manage, develop and mentor tax staff and tax seniors
• Quarterly and Annual presentation of tax provision results to Finance Leadership
• Coordinate and review 10Q and 10K language with members of the Financial Reporting team
• Proficiency in OneSource Tax provision software: OTP, UTP, ITC
• Assistance with Quarterly/Annual SOX Internal Control documentation
• Conduct income tax research, draft tax technical memos
• Provide support and coordination for US tax compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8+ years of relevant experience in corporate and/or public tax accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA certification or MST or comparable advanced degree
• Proficiency in Financial reporting for Income Taxes
• Prior experience in non-GAAP tax reporting, a plus
• International exposure, a plus (e.g., transfer pricing, IFRS, local statutory reporting, BEAT)
• Proficiency in building tax forecasting models in excel and other tax planning tools
• Alteryx experience, a plus
• Prior experience in managing tax staff and training and development programs
• Life Sciences background, a plus
• Prior experience working for inbound companies, a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient tax research, analytical, and reconciliation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and tax technical writing
• Professional, proactive demeanor
• Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP, a plus
