Job Description

Due to staffing challenges associated with the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, under the authority of Gov. Kemp and the Section 1135 blanket waiver issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the dept. is authorizing a temporary nurse aide training program. The temporary nurses aide will be involved with doing the following:

• Assisting the resident with eating
• Assisting with bed baths/showers
• Make beds
• Report to charge nurse anything going on with resident
• Complete an online exam following 8 hrs of training
• 2 hrs of supervised training
• Complete a skills check list
